PRINTS OF A KIND

Hi dear folks! Now I am going to give some fascinating information about the kitchen decor. Here’s something to brighten up your kitchen. Press a few flowers, leaves and herbs between newsprint. Keep under a heavy weight for a few days. Once dry, paste them on equal sized sheets of ivory paper. Ask your local framing shop to frame them in the same size and style. Arrange them on your kitchen wall in a balanced, square or rectangular grid. The creative uniformity infuses the wall with instant interest.

FLOWER RINGS:

To add charm to your dining table, buy a few floral appliqué motifs (available at local lace and button shops). Stick the flowers on to your plain napkin rings for a quick pick-me-up for your next get-together. For extra spice, you can stick some motifs on to plain table napkins and tablecloths as well.

SOUVENIR HUNTING

Dear dude! Here I am going to give you some interesting fact about the memorabilia. Here’s a great décor idea that will keep the memories of your seaside vacation alive through the rest of the year. Collects shells and pebbles of your choice and bring them home; put in a bed of pebbles or blue detergent in large glass jars and put in your shells with a note on the highlight of your trip…

If you travel to the hills, collect pine cones and other interesting” wood souvenirs” and group them in a similar manner. Label on the dates…and you have wonderful memorabilia.

FLOWERS

BLOOMS IN GLASS

Cut your long-stems too short? Do not discard-instead, chop the stems off completely and arrange the flowers in a glass by simply dropping them in. spray a little rose-scented water ( you can use lavender, jasmine or any other fragrance) and place it near your bedside table for a wafting allure. Fill the base with a little water if required. Works well for candlelight dinners too.
